Welcome to my first e-journal entry. The Introduction.
Just like in every paper we wrote, or just simply meeting strangers for the first time, introductions are important, even a brief one. It gets someone to know you better.
Here you will learn three things about me, myself and I.
1. It's me, JD.
I'm Jhon Dave Cusipag, a journalism graduate currently working as a social media writer in one of the news organizations here in the Philippines.
2. Why did I enroll myself in EDS 111 (or in PTC in general)?
Teaching is my second childhood dream. Since I already fulfilled my dream of becoming a journalist, it is now time, through the Professional Teaching Certification, to fulfill my inner child's desire and become a licensed teacher in the future.
3. Is that it? Why do I want to teach?
I want to become an educator to make a difference in the future generation of our country. Coming from a background where many of my relatives are in the education field, I feel like it is also my calling to become part of the noble profession. Additionally, I hope that by enrolling in EDS 111, I will be inspired and guided by the principles that educators must uphold in order to effectively carry out their responsibilities to the youth.
And that's about me, myself and I.
